So here it is a review about my trip to one of the most amazing places I´ve been.
What I loved about this trip was that I didn´t have any expectations about it, I didn´t read, I didn´t do any research. And that made everything so new and fresh, and of course my favourite part, so unexpected.
So ¿ what can I tell u about Istanbul? First of all that it goes whith the "N" and not with the "M" (as the grammatical rule says before "P" and "B" you have to write "M", at least in spanish) Second of all, people there are friendly, welcoming, and lovable, venezuelan people are use to say that we are too, but man, turkish people win.
I was blessed by being received for a such family, even when my friend´s relatives don´t speak a word in english, they did everything possible to get to know me and to make me feel confortable.
Istanbul, is a place full of history, so if you enjoy that kind of stuff it´s gonna be amazing. The arquitecture is stunning, and the stories about it are really interesting, I don´t remember them exactly, but I asure you they are...(Sorry I´m really bad at history)
When I came back somebody ask me about the Blue Mosque, to be honest, I was among so many mosques that I couldn´t tell whether I saw it or not. Just nearby my friend neighborhood are around 4 of them. Actually my first morning in Istanbul I woke up listening to a spiritual sort of song, it was an incredible and surreal way to wake up! So I asked to my friend what was that and she said: "it is the potato seller" (or something like that) "That´s impossible, I wish the potato, banana, tomato seller sang like that in Caracas" I thought. Then, she realized what I was talking about and explained to me that probably somebody died, so this was part of the ritual, wich takes place in the mosques.
Something unmissable is the turkish bath, if I lived there I would go weekly. We went to this one www.cemberlitashamami.com, wich is clean, and chip. So girls, be prepared to be topless and shameless, it´s the most relaxing thing that you won´t regret
Now, the food, OH MY GOOD, I know God exists since I tried turkish food, everything is worth to be eaten, I don´t have words to tell you how deeply I fell for turkish food, from the coffee to the cheese, the bread, EVERYTHING is exquisit.

If you have friends in Istanbul, take advantage of them, cause the language could be an issue, even when in markets (another place you must go) mostly everybody can speak english, it´s a completely different language, so it´s better if you have some turkish speaker along with you.
Just be aware that you have to take off your shoes before you come in to their places. So please keep your socks and feet clean!

Of course don´t forget to take the ferry to the Asia side, visit the old train station, where I found this little barber shop.

Wait for the night and have a tea time next to the shore of the Bosphorus, and contemplate the other side of it and the Maiden´s Tower, and let somebody nice to tell you the story about it, I really enjoyed it.

Last but not least, I suggest to visit Istanbul during spring or fall time, because summer could be hot as hell, unless you get a lovely "yelpaze".
